These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Mindfold, the mobile learning application operated by Mindfold (“we”, “our”, “us”). By creating an account or using Mindfold, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Mindfold provides AI-assisted learning tools, including knowledge workspaces, library content, short courses, quizzes, flashcards, OCR capture, glossary tools, Nova AI chat, and text-to-speech. Features may change over time as we improve the product.

2. Accounts

• You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure.
• You are responsible for activity under your account.
• You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use Mindfold.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, or disrupt Mindfold;
• upload unlawful, harmful, or infringing content;
• abuse AI features, scrape the service at scale, or reverse engineer the app except as allowed by law;
• use Mindfold in a way that violates applicable laws or third-party rights.

4. Your Content

You retain ownership of content you create or upload. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display that content solely to operate and improve Mindfold (for example syncing your library or generating AI outputs you request).

5. AI Features

AI outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete. Mindfold is an educational tool and does not provide professional, medical, legal, or financial advice. You are responsible for how you use AI-generated content.

6. Subscriptions and Billing

• Mindfold may offer a free experience and optional auto-renewable Premium subscriptions.
• Purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. Payment is charged to your store account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID or Google Play account settings.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their policies.

If you are using Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement (EULA), it is available at Apple’s Standard EULA.

7. Third-Party Content and Links

Mindfold may reference or display third-party educational content (for example public sources). We are not responsible for third-party sites, content, or services outside our control.

8. Intellectual Property

Mindfold, including its branding, software, and design, is owned by us or our licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership of our intellectual property to you.

9. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Disclaimers

Mindfold is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mindfold and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or business arising from your use of the service.

12. Termination

You may stop using Mindfold at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if needed to protect the service or other users.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use of Mindfold after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms. The latest version will be posted on this page.
